A long time ago, in a universe beyond our own, an entity called The Destroyer attempted to annihilate the universe. Only the collective force refered to as The Ancient Three ( Thai-Gyk, Sugurn, and Marm'thaelik ) was powerful enough to oppose the Destroyer's intent. The fighting lasted ages. In the end, The Destroyer was vanquised. He was dismembered, and his head, limbs, and body were scattered accross the universe.

Nightmarish creatures created by The Antient Three were then assigned to guard each body part. These creatures were in turn controled by the Srekush'Dolba a warrior race also created by The Ancient Three to ensure that The Destroyer's various body parts were never reunited. But The Destroyer's heart was hidden elsewhere deep beyond any one's reach. It was hidden deep inside a nentity specially desinged for that purpose. Even this entity was not aware that the heart of the destroyer was hidden deep within its body. All this to ensure that The Destroyer never returns...

Ages went by. New entities began to emerge, The Ancient Three's power gradually faded, and corruption filtered into the ranks of the warrior race. Now, a new power struggle has emerged. All covet the ancient limbs of The Destroyer. And the hunt for the entity that holds its heart has begun. For the one who posesses the limbs, and the heart can threaten all with destruction by reuniting The Destroyer 's body and enabeling him to return. Meanwhile, The immortal spirit of The Destroyer has a plan of its own to instigate its body's resurrection...
